An outreach event like no other, BLUE NOTE KARAOKE helps remind us that we're all center stage when it comes to helping to keep our marine water quality clean and healthy. This year we've enlisted one of the best live-band karaoke acts in the country, KNAC/DC to help keep things rocking.
This year we've moved BLUE NOTE KARAOKE down to San Clemente to coincide with the Nike 6.0 Pro surf event. Expect an exciting mix of pro surfers, celebrities and maybe even a surprise musical guest or two.
With over 25,000 closures and health advisories issued at U.S. beaches annually, water quality remains one of our country's biggest environmental issues. Join the Surfrider Foundation and Emergen-C BLUE™ in working to raise awareness and support for this important cause.
Admission to BLUE NOTE is a $10 donation at the door or buy online. BLUE NOTE will benefit Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit working to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches.
A two-week MySpace karaoke contest runs through April 12th. One lucky winner will receive an all-expense paid trip to Southern California to join surfers, activists and karaoke aficionados in "rocking out for a cause" at the BLUE NOTE event in San Clemente.
